52 song project is the newest endeavour by Steve and Chris to share their music with you. So, head on over to the website and let us know what you think. One new original composition will be released every Friday morning of 2011.
Steve and Chris are playing a fundraising show at The Lula Lounge in Toronto on Wednesday 26 January, 2011. It is raising funds for and organization called “Going Going Ghana“. (I see what they did there). And the show is called “We’re Ghana Rock“. (Again…).
We will be on stage from 7 – 8:30pm, tickets $20, all proceeds to helping build schools, community buildings, providing education, medical care and other basic needs to the people of Ghana. “Banned from Heaven” go on after us at 8:30. Againagain, apparently the theme is clever names.
Dammit, monosyllabic first name generic acoustic singer/songwriter act names, dammit.
So, come along then!
Steve (and maybe, just maybe) Chris will be entertaining The Pig’s Ear in Peterborough on Saturday, December 4th, 2010. It will be the first one of (hopefully) many, so your support is always welcome – besides, you can actually be honest when, 4 years from now, you say, “I was at the first Steve (and Chris?) show in Peterborough!”
DOUBLE WHAMMY: Peterborough Santa Claus Parade! Same Day! Too Much Fun! Monosyllables!
Huge thanks to everyone who came out to see us play in Barrie last Tuesday. It’s always great to see so many familiar and new faces, and we had a great time. Our friend Brian Jackson posted some photos of the evening to Facebook. He also posted this not-great-but-not-awful video to YouTube. See if you can spot the exact moment I realize I’m being recorded.
